The choice can be somewhat overwhelming. It is more practically based and focuses on unconscious thought processes which manifest in client&#8217;s behaviour. The approach aims to increase client\u2019s self-awareness and understanding of how past experience has influenced present thoughts, feelings and behaviours, by exploring their unconscious patterns. CBT is useful and effective for many psychological issues, including depression and anxiety. CBT focuses more on the present and breaks issues into smaller parts to make them easier to deal with.
